80 Years of the Orlando HamCation
The Orlando Amateur Radio Club marks 80 years of the Orlando HamCation, to be held 12–14 February 2027 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The 2026 edition drew 24,890 visitors, and over 100 vendors and organisations exhibit each year.

ÖVSV plans a nationwide emergency-communications exercise on Saturday 3 October, the day of Austria's civil-protection siren test. Participants log siren audibility and whether an AT-Alert cell broadcast arrived, using 2 m and 70 cm simplex and CB channel 9.

100 Years of ÖVSV QSL Card
For its centenary, ÖVSV offers a free special QSL postcard in the standard 9x14 cm format. A commemorative Austrian stamp will be issued at the Volkstheater, and its value covers international postage.

ÖVSV publishes an updated list of Austrian amateur callsigns, useful for finding unassigned ones. It also links to the Austrian regulator's forms and notes which callsign types the list leaves out. A pointer to Germany's list is included.

Wasserturm neues Relais im Großraum Wien
Water Tower Becomes New Repeater in Greater Vienna Area
A new UHF repeater on a water tower in Vienna went into service in March 2026, covering the whole city. It outputs on 438.3375 MHz with 162.2 Hz CTCSS and is expected to support emergency communications.
